Benefits can be confusing! Here are some answers to help you along the way.

When do my benefits take effect?

If you enroll by the 10th of the month, your benefits will begin on the 1st of the following month. For example, if you enroll by or before August 10th your benefits will begin September 1st. If you enroll after August 10th, your benefits will begin October 1st.


When will I get my ID card(s)?

You will receive your ID card in the mail approximately 7-10 business days after your coverage effective date. Please bring your card when visiting the doctor.


When can I make changes to my benefits?

You can make changes at any time, although changes occur most often when there is a major life event, such as a marriage, divorce, birth of a child, or change of employment.


How do I make changes to my plan?

Your plan is not managed by VGCM. Please reach out to the Meridio Customer Care Team directly.


Can I add my significant other to my plan?

Yes, you can add your significant other, fiancé, or domestic partner.


Do these plans cover pre-existing conditions?

You can take advantage of Meridio health plans regardless of your age or previous health conditions.


Will my physician be in the network?

Meridio benefits utilize the Multiplan network, one of the nation's most trusted network of providers. You can always visit multiplan.com to search for your existing providers.


Will my medication be covered?

How do I make a Telemedicine appointment?

Simply call the number on the back of your card to set up a portal and access Telemedicine benefits. Then log in, request a consultation, and receive care. Talk to a doctor anytime day or night... for free!


Where can I review the plan options?

How do I cancel my coverage?

Plan cancellations must be made directly with Meridio. If you wish to cancel your health insurance coverage, you must cancel by the 15th of the current month in order for coverage to end for the following month. Email the Meridio Customer Care Team: [email protected].

If you are owed for any pre-payments, VGCM will process a refund within 5 to 10 business days.
