Your Meridio health insurance premium payments can all be conveniently paid for through our platform.
First Payment Due Date
Your first monthly premium payment is due in full by the 12th of the month preceding your coverage start date. Should the 12th fall on a weekend or holiday, the payment will process on the following business day. This payment covers your first month of insurance coverage and is debited from your default payment method (note this is different from your payout method).
For example:
Coverage Start Date: December 1st
First Payment Due: November 12th
Adding Your Preferred Payment Method
Login to your account
Navigate to Settings in the left-hand panel and select Payout & Payment Methods
Under the payment method section, click Add payment method
Select either Bank account or Credit card and click Continue
Click Link account and follow the prompts to connect your account via Plaid
Save as your default payment method
Please note there is a 2.9% processing fee for credit card payments.
Monthly Premium Deductions
Premium payments for your second month of coverage and beyond are automatically deducted from your payments received on VGCM. Medical and/or dental and vision deductions are split evenly over your paychecks in any given month.
We attempt to collect your premium over two invoices if possible. If this is not possible, we may attempt the following:
If you have only one invoice available before the due date with sufficient funds, we'll collect it in a single invoice to avoid interrupting service.
If your monthly invoices don't cover your total premium, the remaining amount will be debited from your default payment method in VGCM.
If you do not have any invoices to deduct from before the due date, we will charge your payment method on file to avoid service interruptions.
Deductions that begin in the current month are for coverage 1-2 months in advance.
For example:
Deductions beginning in October cover December coverage
Deductions beginning in November cover January coverage
Deductions beginning in December cover February coverage

When do I make my first payment?
You will receive an email from VGCM informing you that your first payment for your health insurance coverage will be taken from your default payment method.
If you do not have a default payment method, we will notify you that you must add a default payment method as soon as possible in order to process the first payment.

Can I pay my monthly premiums with a credit card?
Yes! By default, we deduct your monthly premium from payments received on Wingspan. If you would like to have monthly premiums debited from a specific payment method we will debit your account on the 12th of each month.

How Can I Cancel My Coverage?
We does not manage coverage cancellations. To make any changes, you’ll need to contact Meridio directly. Once they process your request, they will notify us, and billing will stop accordingly. If applicable, any pre-paid amounts before cancellation will be refunded.
