We recently launched a document review tool powered by AI that clients are using to automate checks for COIs—but it's designed for a wide range of documents. It can verify headshots, check expiration dates on IDs and background checks, confirm document types (like resumes or licenses), and flag missing or incomplete uploads in real time.
Currently, we're not handling expiration dates, but this is on the roadmap. COI validation is an additional cost for our clients.

ACA reporting isn't typically in scope because 1099 contractors aren't counted for ACA coverage purposes. If a contractor enrolls in a Meridio health insurance plan they can contact Meridio directly for a 1095 Form. Enrollment is entirely optional & clients are not required to offer contractors health benefits.
