Updating an Invited Contractor's Email

A guide to changing the email address associated with an invited contractor on your account

Sometimes a contractor's email needs to be updated β€” maybe because there was a typo in the original entry or they have another, preferred email to use. Clients can now easily update the email address of contractors in Velocity Global Contractor Management.

⚠️ Note

A contractor's email can only be updated under certain circumstances.

  • The contractor's account must be in pending status (not yet registered)

  • The contractor can only have a relationship with you as their current client (no other clients)

  • You must be using engagements


Instructions

  • Navigate to the Contractors page

  • Find and open the contractor whose email you want to edit

  • Confirm that they are in the pending status (i.e, not signed up)

  • Click Edit next to their email

  • Enter the new email in the field and then click continue

  • Review the email for accuracy, then click confirm and continue

  • A new invitation will be dispatched to this address
