How to know if you're setup to receive payouts from a client on Velocity Global Contractor Management

Ensuring you're ready to receive payouts out on VGCM is a top priority. We make it easy to know if you're ready to go! This article will walk through the main steps to confirm your account is fully set up.


Check Your Dashboard

Your dashboard is the first place to start to ensure you're all set to receive payouts on VGCM. We'll automatically display to-dos required of you there for you to complete. To ensure you're all setup, navigate to your Home page and ensure you're no outstanding requests for you.

Once you've completed all your outstanding requirements you'll see a notification confirming that you're all set to go.


Common Requirements

Below are some of the requirements that must be required to receive a payout and how to resolve them.

Tax Identity Verification

As a financial services provider we are required to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) process. That's designed to prevent fraud and keeping our platform secure. You must complete your verification process to receive payouts.

We'll collect information about you and your business (if you file through a business entity.) VGCM operates with world-class security to keep your information safe throughout this process. We only collect what is required for us to properly verify you and prepare your tax documentation.

Once you've completed that you'll see a notice that we've successfully verified your information. If your verification is in process or if you need help with this, reach out to our contractor help desk and we'll assist!

Adding a Payout Method

You need a payout method on file to receive payments via VGCM. If your dashboard indicates yours is missing, please add a new default option on the payout methods page.
