Viewing and Downloading your 1099-NEC
If you are eligible to receive a 1099-NEC, it will be sent to you electronically or postmarked by January 31st, depending on your delivery preferences. If you've requested a mailed copy, you will always have the option to access the electronic copy within the platform as well.
To view your 1099, please open your Tax Documents page. You'll see the listed 1099 form(s). Click view details to see more information.
To Download:
Once in the Tax Documents Dashboard, use the dropdown beside "Tax Documents" to select the desired year, particularly if you're looking for a previous year's form.
To download the PDF of your 1099-NEC, click Download.
Security Verification: For your security, you will need to enter the last four digits of your Taxpayer Identification Number that appear on the 1099-NEC form to access the data or download the form. This will be your SSN or EIN, depending on your filing preference.
If you are unable to complete the security verification, contact your payer to request the last 4 characters of the TIN on your tax form. Our Support team will not share private tax information.
Changing Your Delivery Preferences

The course of action will be dependent on the status of your 1099 filing:
You have not confirmed your tax preferences: You can still make edits to your address in your Tax Documents Dashboard.
Your tax preferences have been confirmed and the 1099 has not been filed: You can contact VGCM Support to reset your tax preferences.
Your 1099 has already been filed, (so it is after January 31st): You can follow our guide to requesting 1099-NEC corrections or contact the payer to update your mailing address.

If you are making the request before January 31st, you can follow the listed steps below to make this change. For requests made after January 31st, you will need to contact your payer.
Open the Tax Documents page in your account
Click "edit" next to the current delivery preference
Select your new preferred method and save your changes

Due to security and the sensitive information on your tax form, we cannot send 1099-NEC forms via email. You will need to contact your client/payer to have them send you a copy.
